OSRAM and LLFY partners present LED lighting solutions in Lighting Fair 2009 Tokyo

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors announced its participation with five LED-Light-for-You (LLFY) partners in the International Lighting Fair 2009 Tokyo, to showcase a wide range of innovative LED solutions and related technologies for solid state lighting applications. The Lighting Fair is Japan's largest illumination exhibition held from March 3 to 6.

LED-Light-for-You (www.ledlightforyou.com) network, which combines the skills of nearly 70 certified partners around the worldwide and 33 of them in Asia, was set up on the initiative of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in 2006. The network serves solid state lighting manufacturers and lighting planners with expert support in areas essential to LED lighting solutions -- optics, thermal management and electronics.

“We found that customers in general encountered technical difficulties in optics, thermal management and electronics when they build new illumination products. LED-Light-for-you provides a platform for them to get technical support and know-how in designing, planning and implementing LED lighting systems. Ultimately, customers’ ideas can be converted into marketable lighting solutions more quickly and more efficiently,” said Mr. Kiyoshi Komatsu, Director of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Japan.

In International Lighting Fair 2009 Tokyo, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ LLFY partners, including Bergquist Company, DENKA, Emerson & Cuming (Henkel), Laird Technologies and Supertex Inc., will present comprehensive competence and innovative prowess in the fields of optics, thermal management and electronics. OSRAM will showcase its state-of-the-art portfolio of LED products, including series of Golden DRAGON Plus, OSTAR-Lighting and Diamond DRAGON. Two luminaires, OSTAR-lighting-based Lotus 16 Watt LED Spotlights and Golden DRAGON-based RADIALUX lamps will also be highlighted in the booth.
