As a microtechnology technician you will manufacture semiconductor products and microsystems - either as prototype or in series production. You will work in the production department, planning and organising workflows and experiments. You will record the results and evaluate them. Sounds simple? Don't be fooled. You will need to use all your talents to recognise potential improvements and continuously optimise processes.
  To do this, you will set up equipment and apparatus, monitor it and test the manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for quality tests and logistics management. During your three year apprenticeship you will work on projects, develop them (and your own abilities) and build a solid foundation for a fascinating professional future.
 
Of course, we expect something of you too: good school exam results at 16 or 18 years old, a talent for high-tech and a good knowledge of English.
