By bringing together a blue chip and yellow, red or green phosphors in the encapsulation material we can mix any color within the color triangle. This technology allows automobile manufacturers to illuminate the automotive interior in a specific brand color and so offers another tool for differentiation. Color on Demand is often used for backlighting of dashboards, radios, climate controls and switches.
