It’s our goal to improve every day and to act sustainably all the time. We constantly test the environmental impact of our production technologies in factories around the world and enhance them to perform even better. Management and staff are also engaged in a continuous dialog with our environmental officers and safety specialists. We organize regular world-wide workshops to swap experiences, develop new ideas and implement improvements. To consistently improve our processes, we have created an organization with clearly defined areas of responsibility and a management system according to the ISO 14001 international standard. But there is more to it than that. Our management system extends beyond environmental protection to cover occupational health and safety as well as measures to prevent fire and catastrophic accidents.
